Business Policies
General
- I’m an independent contractor, not an employee of your company/business.
- I will not seek any benefits.
- I will sign nondisclosure statement upon request.
- Before any work commences both parties, you and I, will sign a binding contract outlining policies, payments, work to be done, and everything else in between.
Hourly work
- Hourly rate is $20
- All hourly assignments have to be done through oDesk (learn more). This will ensure you will pay for the hours I work and not a penny more. Hours will be recorded and we will abide by oDesk policies.
Fixed-rate work
- Fixed-rate work is for small projects to fit my schedule and your budget.
Packages
- Prices are non-negotiable.
- Feel free to contact me for customized package to fit your needs and budget.
Payments
- I use PayPal invoices. You can pay with a credit card through PayPal or send a check.
- Bounced checks are subject to $35 fee.
- There is 25% security deposit for projects in excess of $250 before commencing work. After the work is complete and you’re satisfied with results you will be invoiced for the remaining 75%.
- Once you pay the invoice you accept completed work as satisfactory. There will be no refunds after you pay.
- You are required to pay the invoice within 15 days of receipt.
- Each day it is late you will be charged 1% of the original invoice total every day until it is paid in full.
- Monthly payment plan can be arranged upon request, but extra fees apply.
Discounts
- Qualified non-profit organizations receive 15% discount on the invoice total.
- Current students, with ID, receive 10% discount on the invoice total.
- Refer a friend to receive $10 discount and give your friend $10 discount as well on the invoice total.
- New DreamHost customers will receive $10 discount if they sign up with my promo code.
- Current DreamHost customers might receive $10 discount based on the nature of the project.
